Rosetta eases closer and closer to comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko

Almost there! ESA’s spacecraft Rosetta eases closer and closer to comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko and has now reached a distance comparable to the small stretch of space that separates weather satellites in geo-stationary orbit from Earth. In new images taken by OSIRIS, Rosetta’s onboard scientific imaging system, the comet’s nucleus is beginning to cover several pixels. The resolved images now give scientists a first hunch of its shape.

Talk about ironic – Fox News copies BioShock Infinite logo

• happening in the opposite way to what is expected, and typically causing wry amusement because of this.

For those who may not know, Bioshock Infinite is a video game in which the villain is a right-wing conservative evil mastermind who wants to destroy the world. So far so good. This could work for Fox. But the problem is how the game is played. It’s a first-person shooter about about saving the world by killing right-wing crazy people. That’s ironic ㋡

Aucune idee pourquoi ils peuvent affirmer qu’il y a decoherence, mais l’idee que la vie puisse influencer/utiliser la mechanique quantique a son avantage est vraiment intriguante.
